Das größte menschliche Organ, die Haut, ist gerade im Sommer großen Gefahren ausgesetzt. Die UV-Strahlen der Sonne können das
Hautkrebsrisiko steigern. Normale Textilien sind strahlendurchlässig und bieten keinen ausreichenden Schutz. Zertifizierte Sicherheit
garantiert die UV-Schutzkleidung von PLANAM.
Ausgestattet mit den UV-Schutz-Zertifikaten „PROTECT 80“ und „PROTECT 40“ gewährleistet die Kollektion eine optimale Prävention. Wie bei
Sonnenschutzmitteln kennzeichnet der Wert den Schutzfaktor für eine gefahrlose, längere Verweildauer. Mit den PLANAM-Modellen kann sich
der Träger also 80 bzw. 40 Mal länger in der Sonne aufhalten als ungeschützt. Die veredelte Bekleidung mit integriertem Sonnenschutzfaktor
bietet somit den optimalen Schutz für die Haut. Empfindliche Menschen können sich länger in der Sonne aufhalten, ohne sich am ganzen Körper
eincremen zu müssen. Wichtig ist es dabei, den individuellen Hauttyp zu kennen, um die Eigenschutzzeit (Zeitspanne der möglichen Sonnenex-
position ohne Hautschäden zu riskieren) zu bestimmen. Der ausgewiesene UV-Schutzfaktor (z.B. Protect 80) definiert, um welchen Faktor die
Eigenschutzzeit alleine durch das Tragen von Textilien verlängert werden kann.
The UV protective clothing with integrated sun protection factor
The largest human organ, the skin, is at particular risk in the summer, since the sun‘s UV rays can increase the risk of skin cancer. Normal
textiles are radiolucent and do not therefore provide sufficient protection. PLANAM‘s UV protective clothing offer certified safety:
Designed in compliance with the UV protection certificates “PROTECT 80” and “PROTECT 40”, the collection guarantees optimum skin protection.
As with sunscreens, the figure indicates the protective factor thus ensuring safe and longer periods of time in the sun. PLANAM’s models
therefore allow the wearer to remain in the sun 80 and 40 times longer than those without protection. With their integrated sun protection
factor, the refined garments provide the skin with optimum protection. People with sensitive skin can stay in the sun longer without having to
cover themselves in sunscreen. Here, it is important to know the individual skin type in order to determine the intrinsic protection time (period of
time with possible exposure to the sun without risking skin damage). The reported UV protection factor (e.g. Protect 80) defines by what factor
the intrinsic protection time can be extended simply by wearing textiles.

Initiative zur Einhaltung von Sozialstandards in Produktionsländern
PLANAM hat sich der Initiative „sozial-fair“ des Verbandes der Fertigwarenimporteure e.V. (VFI) angeschlossen. Damit verpflichten wir unsere
Lieferanten, die Bedingungen von „sozial-fair“ einzuhalten, um ein soziales, menschenwürdiges Umfeld bei den Arbeitsbedingungen in deren
eigenen ebenso wie in vorgelagerten Betriebsstätten sicherzustellen.
Wir sind uns der sozialen Verantwortung bewusst und stützen somit die interanationalen Regeln in Bezug auf Kinderarbeit und den Verbot der
Zwangsarbeit. Weiterhin verpflichten wir unsere Lieferanten, Mindeststandards für Gesundheit und Sicherheit im Arbeitsumfeld zu gewähren und
die Arbeitszeit und Entlohnung auf Grund der staatlichen oder tariflichen Vorgaben sicherzustellen und die Vereinigungsfreiheit einzuräumen.
PLANAM bestätigt und dokumentiert Einhaltung der Standards im eigenen Unternehmen und bei den Vorlieferanten und legt entsprechende
Dokumentationen den authorisierten VFI-Prüfern generell ebenso vor wie individuell und kontraktbezogen dem einzelnen teilnehmenden Unternehmen.
Somit können wir eine verantwortungsvolle Produktion bei unseren Lieferanten auf Basis der Sozialstandards sicherstellen.

Initiative for the observance of social standards in producing countries
PLANAM has joined the “social-fair“ initiative of the Verband der Fertigwarenimporteure e. V. (VFI = ANFI - Association of non-food importers).
This obligates our suppliers to comply with the conditions of “social-fair”, which ensures a socially fair, humane environment with regard to the
working conditions in their own and in upstream manufacturing facilities.
We are aware of our social responsibility and therefore support the international regulations relating to child labour and the prohibition of forced
labour. Furthermore, we obligate our suppliers to set minimum standards in respect of workplace health and safety, to ensure that working hours
and payment is in line with statutory or collectively agreed provisions, and to grant freedom of association.
PLANAM confirms and documents compliance with standards in its own company and among its upstream suppliers and presents the corre-
sponding documentation to the authorised VFI auditors in general and to individual participating companies on an individual and contract-related
basis.
